Nokia

XLR8 was appointed, in September 2005, by Nokia to manage its public relations in Nigeria. Nokia’s maiden XLR8-organized media interactive sessions were attended by the cream of journalists in Nigeria – including editors, editorial board chairmen, line editors and reporters.

In April 2006, XLR8 organized Nokia’s formal launch activities in Nigeria and continued to bear responsibility for Nokia’s public relations activities in Nigeria and Ghana. XLR8 relinquished the Nokia account at the end of August, 2006.

Despite relinquishing the Nokia account in August, XLR8 was recruited by Nokia to manage a telecom industry workshop, in October 2006.

XLR8 managed all of Ericsson’s communications in Nigeria and the West Africa region between September 2005 and June 2007. Major initiatives included the conceptualization and development of a globally-lauded corporate employee magazine for Ericsson.
 
Cisco West Africa

XLR8 has since April 2006 borne responsibility for all of Cisco’s communications management in Nigeria, Ghana and Liberia. XLR8 managed Cisco’s brand launch in West Africa on April 11, 2006 and is currently driving efforts to enhance the brand’s visibility in Nigeria and Ghana.

 
MTN Nigeria

XLR8 won in May, 2007 a competitive bid involving 8 of Nigeria’s leading communications consultancies, for the MTN corporate communications business. MTN is Nigeria’s leading telecommunications company and easily the most formidable and heavily reported brand in Nigeria, outside of the Federal Government of Nigeria. XLR8 has borne responsibility for managing this vibrant brand since May 2007.

 
eTranzact Nigeria

eTranzact is the world’s only multi-channel e-payment platform. Its offices are located in the UK, Nigeria and Zimbabwe. XLR8 is responsible for all of the firm’s communications activities in Nigeria

In July 2007, XLR8 was appointed by Unity Bank to develop and implement all communications pertaining to the bank’s first ever launch of new products.

 
eNNOVATE Expo (www.ennovate-expo.com)

XLR8 developed the concept of a technology and value added service expo in 2004. With an objective to help deepen popular appreciation and adoption of technology eNNOVATE expo is the only one of its kind in Nigeria. It has run annually since 2005 and besides being actively supported by Government at both ministerial and regulatory levels (Nigerian Communications Commission), the expo continues to amass growing corporate endorsement. Corporate participants in the past include MTN, Hewlett Packard, Nokia, DHL, Ericsson, Mtel, Starcomms, Reltel, Accelon, APC, Nigerian Communications Commission, and The Digital Bridge Institute among many others.
